Very often, when you group with strangers, you don't know who you're going to play with. It can quickly take a long time to look at the dotabuff one by one. It would be great to be able to have the basic information of people who are in the same group as us in the game menu. For example: the number of recent games, previous scores and favorite positions.
This must be complicated, because there is no request that is sent to the server that creates an instance. But one can imagine a quick search from dota plus.
I don't know if I'm very clear, I'm making an example: I decide to join a group, I don't know 3 players. Thanks to the extra stuff, I can quickly see some basic information. That way, I know if they're big dota players or not, what position he plays, etc.
Basically, when I enter my first game after launching Dota 2, my screen turns black, except I can still see that I connected and each player's color, on the top. The Dota Plus window still pops up, I can't close it, minimize it, or interact with the screen at all. In the back, I can still hear game audio and my announcer pack. I have to restart Dota and reconnect every time to let me see what the enemies have picked and so that I can pick as well. I have been doing that for the past month, it is getting a bit frustrating now so I have come here to ask for some help. When I disable Dota Plus, the problem disappears.

For those people who do not export match data, Dotabuff is empty and consequently so is Dota Plus.

useful when there are some people who often pick same hero or pick same hero in last XXX matches or you just know because he is in party or said in chat
When a player hero detection is made, show his most purchased items on that hero, with average timings.
This will help detect hero builds before they actually happen, and will allow you to plan ahead.
Classic examples are Blink+Euls SF vs fighting SF, and Radiance Spectre vs Diffusal Manta Spectre.
If you know that ahead of time you can counteract it more efficiently.

Since this message started to appear, bans are still showing right, but all the other sub menus (picks, tables etc') aren't working anymore.
Let alone this app is just... running... so... slowwwww. Opening it in Dota, seeing it load and moving between sub menus makes me feel like my computer is a Pentium 2 with a non existent on board GPU -_-
Include hero synergy in pick suggestions.
This means that if you already have a Disruptor and a Warlock in your team, a Faceless Void suggestion's score will be much higher, since they have great synergy together.
Support for player notes.
- Add ability to add notes to players
- Notes will stick even if players change profile name
- A notification will trigger upon match start when there are players with notes
- There will be an icon indicating that a player has a note attached to him
- You will be able to edit/remove the notes
- For now the data will be saved locally and not the a cloud.
Similar to Valve's ALT + Click
ALT + Clicking an enemy hero in the table will send a message in chat:

ALT + Clicking an a suggested pick will send a message in chat:
[DotaPlus] I think someone should pick Phoenix
ALT + Clicking an enemy from the Counter Picks section will send:
[DotaPlus] Riki counters are: [Slardar, Bounty Hunter, ....]

PS: If actually sending the messages to the chat will not be possible, I'll at least copy them to the clipboard.
Automatically assign heroes to players during Captains Mode matches according to maximal amount of played matches across the team. It will save users the hassle of assigning heroes to players where in most cases it's pretty obvious.
As implementation goes I'll decide whether to keep the manual way.
For all allies heroes, show synergy tips. For instance, if you picked Storm Spirit and someone on your team picked Life Stealer, you will see a tip telling you that Storm Spirit is a great vehicle for Life Stealer for ganks.
For all enemy heroes, show counter tips. For instance, if you picked Oracle and the enemy picked Dark Seer, you will see a tip tell you that Oracle can purge Ion Shell.
